In this week’s radically honest conversation, Conor Warren of Spark UK talks about the importance of having open and honest conversations about mental health, and how we can all play a role in creating a more supportive environment for young people.
At the age of 17 years, Conor discusses how passionate he is about mental health and has been since he was a young child. He started Spark UK as a way to help other young people who were struggling with their mental health with the name coming to him in the middle of the night!
Spark UK provides resources and support to young people, and it also works to raise awareness about mental health issues and has had amazing growth in a short period of time.
We also talked about:
- Conor’s ambition and drive
- The importance of involving young people in conversations about mental health
- How we can all play a role in creating a more supportive environment for young people
- What schools can do to support young people
- Self care ideas and actions
