A radically honest conversation of struggle to success with Sonja Leason who was homeless with a baby from 17 to 20 years old and is now a successful business woman and a best selling author having written “A Woman’s Work” in 2020. The journey to this point was not smooth with its mental, emotional and physical challenges. Sonja wants to inspire people and she shares an inspiring story.
In this Radical Truth Sonja explained the traumatic events led her to leave home at 16 years old with a Craig David CD, some underwear and £120. She had no plan but Sonja’s energy of determination meant that she continued to strive for more and not accept the struggle.
Sonja experienced a range of physical and mental health problems and has been committed to her healing for many years. She recognises that her emotions were trapped in her nervous system and discussed the methods she has used to heal. She was honest about crying at times on why the to some of her therapy sessions but she kept showing up and is now reaping the benefits of her commitment to herself.
We touched on:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- OCD
